Fitting a snorkel means air supply is drawn from roof level providing cooler and cleaner air to the engine, which means greater fuel efficiency and less clogging of air filters when compared to air drawn at a bonnet level. The Classic Air Ram style suits the traditional snorkel design. The snakehead shape extends forward over the piping as an obvious addition to the vehicle.
Although it is the classic design, the traditional model still offers the same level of air induction, with the same level of quality as the newer wedgetail variant.
The Wedgetail Air Ram is the latest styling of the TJM Snorkel range. Rather than the obvious design of the Classic Air Ram, the Wedgetail Air Ram follows the contour of the vehicle and wraps around the windshield to appear as a less obvious addition.
Although appearing more subtle, the new style still offers the same level of air induction, with the same level of quality.
